Description
The Postcode Address File is the definitive database of over 29 million UK residential and business mailing addresses used for address checking and cleansing, direct mail applications and website address capture forms.
Whether you are building an address capture tool for a website; cleaning a mailing list for your direct marketing campaign or identifying addresses within a franchise area we can provide PAF® in easy to use lists and spread sheets for use within your organisation.
We offer a number of options for licensing PAF® so you can licence just what you need and keep your costs low. Our most popular options are shown below but if you have questions or want to talk to someone just contact us and we'll be glad to help.
Data Supply Options
PAF is available at Premise Level (also known as Full PAF) which contains a record for each one of the 29 million individual addresses across the UK. It is therefore understandably a huge database which is most widely used for website address capture applications. Download a Premise Level PAF sample here >
You can also licence PAF at Street Level (also known as Part PAF) which does not include individual building names or numbers. This file is much smaller at just over 1.7 million records and is used widely for address cleansing and some capture applications. Download a Street Level PAF sample here >
Geographic Selection
PAF can be licenced for the entire UK or, if you only need the data for a certain part of the country, you can licence Premise level PAF for individual Postcode Areas further reducing file sizes and licence fees. Just let us know the area you need to cover >
Licensing
All PAF data products require the payment of an annual licence fee and use is governed by the terms and conditions of our data licence which can be downloaded from here >. The annual licence fee includes quarterly updates at no additional cost.
The licence fees for Royal Mail PAF data can be quite complicated and vary according to the number of users accessing the data and different licensing is required for use of the data on a public facing website. We will advise you on the best licence for your specific requirement; please send us a message and we'll be happy to help.
